1. Definitions:
   1. 1.1. “Application Period” means the period commencing from 01 May 2020 to 31 May 2020, both dates inclusive.
   2. 1.2. “Award” refers to a S$50 Geneco Rebates credited to the New Customer’s Geneco account upon successful sign up of a new residential electricity account with Geneco with the promotion code “MAY50”, which will be used to offset the New Customer’s Geneco electricity bills before GST.
   3. 1.3. “Eligible Customer” refers to an individual who:
      1. a. is the registered account holder (or the authorised person) of the residential address at the time of signing up; and
      2. b. signs up for a new residential electricity account with Geneco under any one of the following plans (Get It Fixed 36 / Get It Fixed 24 / Get It Less 24 or Get Sunny) and applies the promotion code “MAY50” when signing up for a new residential electricity account with Geneco; and
      3. c. is not an existing customer of Geneco at the time of signing up; and
      4. d. does not have a Geneco account that was terminated or closed (whether by the individual or by Geneco) in the last twelve (12) months immediately prior to the commencement of the Application Period; and
      5. e. is not an existing employee or the immediate family members (including spouse, children, siblings and parent) of an employee of either Seraya Energy Pte Ltd, YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited or PetroSeraya Pte Ltd.; and
      6. f. is not deemed ineligible and/or notified by Geneco as being ineligible from time to time.1.4“Geneco” means Geneco by Seraya Energy Pte Ltd.
   4. 1.5. "Geneco Rebates"refers to the actual amount credited to the New Customer’s account which can be used to offset the New Customer’s Geneco electricity bills.
   5. 1.6 “New Customer” refers to an Eligible Customer who has successfully signed up a new residential electricity account with Geneco in accordance to Clause 2.1 (a) – (c).
2. Eligibility Requirements
   An Eligible Customer is deemed to have successfully signed up for a new account with Geneco if all the following conditions are met:
   1. 2.1. the Eligible Customer submits an application for any one of the following plan (Get It Fixed 36 / Get It Fixed 24 / Get It Less 24 or Get Sunny) with Geneco, available at https://www.geneco.sg/residential/electricity-plans/ during the Application Period;
   2. 2.2. the Eligible Customer successfully applies the promotion code “MAY50” at the point of signing up; and
   3. 2.3. such application is approved by Geneco within two (2) to four (4) weeks from the application submission date.
3. General Terms and Conditions
   1. 3.1. MAY50 promotion code is valid for the first five thousand (5,000) successful new sign-ups during the Application Period.
   2. 3.2. The New Customer will receive the Award within sixty (60) days from the date the application is approved. The Award shall not apply if the Geneco account is closed before or on the date that the Award is awarded by Geneco.
   3. 3.3. Geneco reserves the right to amend, suspend, withdraw, vary or terminate the Promotion, including but not limited to replacing the Award with another promotion of similar value at its absolute discretion, and to, vary, add to, or delete any of these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to the eligibility requirements set out in Clauses 1.3 and 2, and the Application Period under Clause 1.1.
   4. 3.4. Geneco shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any loss, injury, damage, harm, settlement sums, costs, charges, expenses, actions, penalties, proceedings, claims and/or demands, arising out of or in connection with the Award.
   5. 3.5. It shall be at Geneco’s absolute discretion to make any decision on all matters relating to this Promotion, including but not limited to the eligibility requirements. Geneco’s decision in relation to such matters shall be final and binding on all customers.
   6. 3.6 Participation in this Promotion shall constitute acceptance of all terms and conditions set out above and any amendments thereof. These terms shall be read in conjunction with the Electricity Retail Agreement, where relevant, and/or any other applicable promotional terms and conditions.
